The Tyranny of Rights - by Brewster Kneen

This is a book that everyone should read as we have all become blinded by the notion of rights, and have all but taken responsibility for that which is truly the most sacred; our Mother-Earth and all her children. The approach, that we should recognize our responsibilities instead of dwelling on our rights, is the key to realizing true prosperity with our natural environment as well as ourselves.

Here is a link to the FREE copy of this magnificent and never more important work graciously provided to us by Mr. Brewster Kneen:

I would also like to thank Mr.Kneen on behalf of the students of the aboriginal studies students association for putting into words the need for greater social and individual responsibility.

Aboriginal and Canadian students studies association kicked off January 12th, 2010.

On Tuesday, January 12th 2010, the first Aboriginal and Canadian students studies association was held ! The meeting was a great start for the association, something which has been a long time coming. On behalf of everyone in the association I would like to give thanks to Dorothy Meness for joining us as well as for doing the opening prayer, Adrienne Fleming for really putting together a very impressive event, and last but not least I would like to give thanks to the professors who came to give their much appreciated support.
I would also like to add that although professor George Sioui could not physically make it to the meeting, we felt he was there in spirit, and we wish him a healthy and speedy recovery, our thoughts are with you !
